First day of TCC

So I was way to lazy to write about my first day of college. so I'm writing it now! so i only take on class at TCC and one online. i was afraid i would get over overwhelmed and i would go crazy. i was taking three classes but i needed to work to get money so dropped one of them. i take Pickleball-Badmitton with Hadossa and my friend David! so i'm stoked for that. on the way to catch my bus, i walked past a guy i thought i new and called out hey brice! and the guy "hey! wait my name isn't bryce it's Joel remember?" and then i said oh! then he said "yeah well see you later in class" and he walked away while i stood there thinking i just had a conversation with a total stranger who i mistakenly thought was someone else and he mistakenly thought i was someone else..huh Cool! i guess and went on my way.

oh and as i was going to get in line to buy stuff from the book store which may i say was out the door! note to self never buy your books from the campus book store on the first day of school. there will be a Long Long Long line out the door. any-who so i was on my way and walked past a girl who i thought i knew and couldn't remember her name for the life of me so i kept on walking listening to my Ipod. As i walked i heard some one call out to me, then i thought maybe it was just my head, so i kept on walking . and i heard it again and stopped this time to listen and for sure it was a girl who i met once at El Shedie, so i stopped and talked to her for awhile! then got on my way to the cafeteria
. As i was going to sit at a table a guy came out of know where and stole my seat! so i went to the couches and sat and listened to a girl playing the piano as i cooled off..and then i heard someone say hi aren't you in my class and for sure it was that really cool guy from my Pickleball-Badmitton class. i don't remember his name. so i talked to him for awhile, poor guy i couldn't really understand him with his thick Russian accent and all so i just bobbed my and and laughed and said yes and oh my and that really cool. so i really don't know allot about him even thought i sat and talked to him for like a half hrs. but he's really cool and i have like 10 or more weeks to know him

Petals

Petals Life is a stream On which we strew Petal by petal the flower of our heart; The end lost in dream, They float past our view, We only watch their glad, early start. Freighted with hope, Crimsoned with joy, We scatter the leaves of our opening rose; Their widening scope, Their distant employ, We never shall know. And the stream as it flows Sweeps them away, Each one is gone Ever beyond into infinite ways. We alone stay While years hurry on, The flower fared forth, though its fragrance still stays. Amy Lowell

I was in a war, a real war.

Liberia |līˈbi(ə)rēə|

a country on the Atlantic coast of West Africa; pop. 3,390,000; capital, Monrovia; languages, English (official) and English-based pidgin.
Liberia was founded in 1822 as a settlement for freed slaves from the U.S. and was proclaimed independent in 1847. Indigenous peoples form the majority of the population. In 1980, the predominant Liberian-American elite was overthrown in a coup; a civil war, which ended with a cease-fire in 1996, began in 1990. After years of continuing unrest, a transitional government took control in 2003.
